Joint work with the University of Hong Kong the University of Ioannina, Greece, "Top-k String Similarity Joins" will appear as a full paper in the Proceedings of the 32nd International Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management (SSDBM).

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, SSDBM 2020 will be held as an online event. Our work will be presented via a pre-recorded video, which will be publicly available.

Joint work with the University of Konstanz, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany titled "Finding k-Shortest Paths with Limited Overlap" will appear in the VLDB Journal (VLDBJ).

Joint work with the University of Hong Kong and the University of Ioannina, Greece  titled "Top-k Spatial Distance Joins" will appear in the International Journal on Advances of Computer Science for Geographic Information Systems (GeoInformatica).

Joint work with Research Centre 'Athena', Greece and the University of Ioannina, Greece, "Band Joins for Interval Data" and with the University of Alberta, Canada and the University of Konstanz, Germany, "RRAMEN: An Interactive Tool for Evaluating Choices and Changes in Transportation Networks" will appear as short and demo paper, respectively, in the Proceedings of the 23rd International Conference on Extending Database Technology (EDBT).

Our papers will be presented at EDBT 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark in March.

The 6th ACM SIGMOD International Workshop on Managing and Mining Enriched Geo-Spatial Data (GeoRich) will be held in Portland, OR, USA in conjunction with the ACM SIGMOD International Conference on Management of Data (ACM SIGMOD 2020); Prof. Bouros is the general chair.
